Support that helps adults and young people live as independently as possible, with the right help at the right times.

Supported living helps people live in their own home or a shared setting with personalised support built around their goals. Unlike residential care, the person keeps control of their home, their routines and their choices, with our team providing the practical and personal support that makes independence possible.
Supported living is different from housing related support. Housing related support helps people manage a tenancy and does not include personal care tasks such as bathing or feeding. Abbeys Care provides regulated, person-centred support, and we will always explain clearly what is and is not included before support begins.
We provide supported living for adults and young people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, sensory needs and complex needs. Every arrangement starts with the person, their aspirations and the life they want to build, with families and professionals involved every step of the way.
Cooking, laundry, budgeting and personal routines, practised step by step until they become second nature.
Keeping the home safe, clean and organised, from bills and correspondence to household tasks.
Getting out and about, building friendships, joining clubs and activities and travelling with growing confidence.
Support to attend GP, dental and hospital appointments and to build healthy everyday habits.

Handing over day-to-day support takes trust. We keep families involved and informed, share progress openly and welcome your knowledge of the person you love. Many families tell us the biggest change is watching confidence grow.
Social workers, commissioners and transition teams can refer directly to our team. We provide clear service summaries, structured assessments and honest answers about what we can deliver.
